Apple Bananas (a.k.a. Candy Apple Bananas)
Apple bananas are exceptionally sweet, hence their other name, Candy Apple Banana. They are grown in the rainy tropical forests in Hawaii and the Caribbean. Their flesh is firm and has a slight pinkish tone. The sweet, moist flesh is perfect for snacking or using in desserts and is particularly well suited to adding to fruit salads and other raw preparations since it doesn't brown as quickly as other banana varieties.
Braeburn apple is firm to the handle with a red/orange vertical streaky appearance on a yellowish cast in the background. The color shades and intensity varies with different varieties. Braeburn Apples are known to be very aromatic and have a burst of flavor when eaten.
Wonderfully delicious, cherry fruit is packed with full of health-benefiting nutrients and unique antioxidants. Cherries are native to Eastern Europe and Asia Minor regions.
